SEELE / KONCERT / KONTEKSTY X: W NIEZNANE

An improvised concert with live visuals, inspired by the doctrine of the Seele organization, according to which appropriately selected sounds can enable the audience to achieve a shared consciousness. The project reconstructs fragments of a lost ritual through the synthesis of electronics and traditional instruments.

(Seele (German for “soul”) A secret organization founded in the 20th century as an elite circle of physicists and biologists. Its roots go back to the discovery of ancient manuscripts containing prophecies about the end of humanity. According to legend, its members treated sound as a gateway to transcending the boundaries of individual existence—to entering a state of collective consciousness. They believed that individuality and separation of individuals lead to suffering.

The members of Seele saw technology, bioengineering, and sound as tools for realizing this liturgical vision.)

Dawid Dąbrowski – composer, music producer, DJ, and cultural animator. He creates in the broadly understood field of electronic music, using a modular synthesizer and instruments modified by himself using the circuit bending technique. Curator and co-creator of the Hiatus and µHiatus music festivals. Author of music for numerous theater performances, sound installations, and performative projects. Co-creator of many bands and music projects, including Afterimage, Czarnoziem, Drogi Krajowe, Resmover, and Dąbrowski/Mańko. In 2024, together with the duo Czarnoziem, he released the album “Socha” on Gusstaff Records.

Fabian Klimanek - composer, trumpeter, producer. His musical language is based on processing the sound of the trumpet with electronic tools such as samplers, loopers, and effects processors. In his work, he draws on genres such as ambient, noise, hip-hop, free jazz, and contemporary classical music. He composes solo, chamber, and orchestral pieces. He is the leader of the band We do not pretend, with whom he released his debut album in 2024. He collaborates with, among others, biøsem, Adam Jędrysik, Mateusz Borgiel, the live band Paktofonika, and Ferbim. In 2025, his first solo album, Practice of Silence, was released, a collage created from many hours of improvised recordings.

Tymek Papior - multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. His music is a combination of electroacoustic compositions and improvisation. The artist uses prepared instruments and electronics to process and create sound. In 2023, the artist released a solo EP, WIND EP, and the single Truffles Attack (feat. Wuja HZG) on the album Portrety 2, released by uknowmerecords. In 2024, two albums were released: LUMBAGO (Tymek Papior, Wuja HZG) and Tymek's debut solo album “Rugs/Carpets,” which was nominated for the Fryderyk 2025 award.

Karolina Jacewicz - Visual artist. She creates projections and multimedia scenography for operas and theater festivals. Her works have been presented at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Opera de Oviedo in Spain, the Music Hall in Thessaloniki, the Plovdiv Opera, and during the Wuzhen Theater Festival in China. A graduate of the University of Arts in Poznań, she is the co-founder of the MEDIALAB UAP Multimedia and Mapping Studio. TEDx speaker.
