spectacle description
The kingdom - sea, fish, birds, trees, agile cat, sun, starry sky - emerges from the fog. The king conducts leisurely conversations, watches the world, participates in small and important events. Meetings with nature teach him humility, mindfulness, to maintain a distance from himself but also to enjoy the simplest things: sunbathing, tracking the flight of gulls...
And while the King feels like a proud ruler, equal to the sun, sky and sea, he is able to draw appropriate conclusions from the study of wise coexistence of all beings and issues in the universe about the need for harmony and rhythm in his kingdom. The shadow following him reminds him that: “everything has its other side”. Marcin Jarnuszkiewicz translated the poetic philosophical text of Heinz Janisch into the language of images and events. He has prepared an extraordinary spectacle in which one can find their own reflection: both a child and an adult, because each of us can and should learn to look attentively at our own kingdom.

- 30.05.2015 - 5th International Karuzela Theatre Festival (Łódź)
                       * award for Marcin Jarnuszkiewicz "for the masterful directing of a proprietary performance titled "The entire kingdom of king", for the courage to tell parables on fundamental themes in silence and contemplation and for reminding that beauty is a living and necessary value".

* The most beautiful element of Jarnuszkiewicz's performance is the emphasis on the affirmation of existence with all its glows and shadows. The Poznan spectacle is meticulously developed - visual solutions and stage movement are pleasant to the eye and music becomes an element that makes individual sequences more dynamic. The form of the performance has a perfect sense of the audience's expectations regardless of the age which is also important in this case.

 * The entire kingdom of King is an experience of a condensed beauty and affirmative affection - but with a constant awareness that it is an experience of an ephemeral nature. The viewer already starts to miss it during its duration, in the sense of inevitability of the end.
