spectacle description

Pre-Slavonic demonology, along with the extraordinary legends and magical creatures inhabiting them is slowly falling into oblivion. The creators of "Stories from the oblivion" decided to protect some of them from being forgotten. Actors appear on stage and, like in the old days, they slowly weave their tales of the powerful Planetniks, crazy forest witch doctors - Babas, cunning and dangerous Jędzas or the awe-inspiring, mysterious Bezkost. However, Kłobuk, a quiet, forest spirit, whose presence always means disaster, appears at the beginning of the legend. From that moment on, everything goes wrong, legends, rather than appear in words and whispers, come alive! Actors of Teatr Animacji and the children in the audience must placate Baba, try not to be fooled by a mean hag, fight Bezkost, and all this in order to save Planetnik, without whom our weather would not exist!

Unique puppets created by Duda Paiva really come to life on stage, evoking respect, sometimes horror, and on occasions laughter.

Duda Paiva, a Brazilian living in Holland, decided to take a closer look at Slavonic legends. Maybe we can get to know them again thanks to this show?
