In our performance, Dolt decides to win the heart of Suzie, which is not easy at all! He's being driven by various new emotions – from happiness through shame and insecurity to anger, fear, jealousy and regret. Dolt is only just learning to name these feelings and to deal with them. His closest friend, providing support in every situation, is his dog Pickle. Thanks to him, and contrary to what Dolt’s strict father says, Dolt even allows himself to cry when he is sad. Because, after all, boys cry too. Especially those unhappily in love!
