What does it mean to “own something”? Tiny Tiger embarks on an adventurous journey to find out. Out in the big world, frightening at first with its vastness, he meets many beings who will attempt to help him find the answer he’s looking for.
This is an intimate production intended for small groups of young viewers, following the convention of Japanese Kamishibai theater (kami – paper, shibai – theater, performance, art; which together means illustration theater, picture theater, literally: paper theater). Kamishibai is the traditional Japanese art of storytelling using images in a small box that acts as a stage.
