We have been producing plays for children for a very long time. We have staged a whole lot of them. We – the adult creators of theater for children. Adults telling children about the world. But what if the roles were reversed?
“The snail and the lion, or the tale of…” - the play with a really long title was invented entirely by a five-year-old boy. It was Leoś, aged five, who created the whole colorful, multi-thread story and the unruly characters living within it. By the power of the child's imagination, crazy ideas and intrigues, songs and jokes spring forth onto the stage as if from a magical toy box.
