Based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, the performance was written and directed by Artur Romański, telling the story of the little heroine’s unusual journeys, and her meetings with a colorful gallery of characters: the bossy mother Toad, the not very bright Toadson, the arrogant Count Ąszcz, the busy Mouse, the somewhat demonic Mole, the kind-hearted Swallow.
The musical performance is saturated with melodious, atmospheric songs. The costumes - highlighting the uniqueness of each character - and the striking set design make the show attractive to both younger and older audiences.
